Love and Sex with Robots, de David Levy, sai pela Harper Collins e analisa as possibilidades de relacionamento emocional e físico entre seres humanos e robôs [ou coisas], das velhas e cansadas “dolls” até os animais virtuais. segundo o editor… “Using examples drawn from around the world, David Levy shows how automata have evolved from the mechanical marvels of centuries past to the electronic androids of the modern age, and how human interactions with technology have changed over the years… [and discusses] why we form emotional attachments to animals and to virtual pets and why these same attachments could extend to love for robots.”

levy prevê que a interação emocional e sexual humano-robô vai estar rolando livre, leve e solta em 2050: “love with robots will be as normal as love with other humans, while the number of sexual acts and lovemaking positions commonly practised between humans will be extended, as robots teach more than is in all of the world’s published sex manuals combined.” uau!

do jeito que o mundo vai, é bom não duvidar. mas não vai ser assim tão simples. segundo o próprio levy… “There are lot of questions here that need a great deal of discussion and consideration from people who are much wiser than I am in the field of ethics, philosophy and law. Clearly the law makers and the lawyers are going to have a field day debating these issues.” sem falar no que as igrejas vão dizer. pelo menos os robôs [se tudo correr bem e higiênicamente] não devem transmitir AIDS. tomara.
